During my 5-week placement at White Horse Theatre I was
able to take part in the exciting work of the preparation of nine
new theatrical productions.
My tasks were very varied. I was able to set my own learning
targets, and was supported in realising them: I worked in the
costume department and helped at painting scenes and making
props. I researched for low-priced materials and acted as an
interpreter for the English team. Besides I was allowed to watch
the rehearsals for the new plays.
I specially enjoyed the good working atmosphere in a very friendly,
open-minded international team. I was able to choose tasks on
my own and was always supported by the professionals when
problems occurred.
